Which Course Should I Take?
Although we feel the Basic Rider Course (BRC) is a terrific and effective way for most riders to learn the basics of riding a motorcycle, we also feel that a student's experience can also be enhanced through a private one-on-one session. The rate for a private lesson is $75 per hour (2 hr minimum), which includes one-on-one training with a certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Instructor and use of our motorcycle and helmet. The personalized session is 100% directed towards your needs. We have had much success with the following types of private sessions and welcome any requests that you may have to make your experience the most beneficial. Introduction to Motorcycling! (Private 1:1) For the Pure Novice: A taste of riding... without a big investment of time or money. Find out if riding is for you, and if you have the basic skills needed to be prepared for the full Basic Rider Course (BRC). Introduction to Motorcycling! is a new class from Training Wheels and has been designed specifically for the brand new rider. The Course is a two-hour, hands-on private class which introduces brand new riders to the activity of motorcycling. Class sizes are a 1:1 student:coaching ratio with a MSF certified Rider Coach. The pace is slow, allowing maximum time for coaching, skill development, and confidence building. Introduction to Motorcycling! is intended as a precursor to the regular Basic Rider Course. If you are unsure of your abilities, are unsure if motorcycle riding is the right activity for you, or if you just want to take a more gradual approach to learning to ride, consider the Introduction to Motorcycling! If you decide to participate in the Basic Rider Course upon completion of the Introduction to Motorcycling! session, then $50 will be applied towards your tuition of the BRC. Topics Covered:
Tuition is $150 for 2 hours of instruction. View available INTRO SESSION courses and register online. Post BRC Session (Private 1:1) If you have taken the BRC and would like some additional instruction, then the POST-BRC Session is for you. If you have participated in the BRC and were not able to complete the course due to lack of confidence or skill in some areas of riding, then the Post BRC Session is a great fit for you. Topics Covered:
If you have participated and passed the BRC, but would like to work on your newly acquired skills, then the post BRC Session is a good fit for you as well. We have heard from numerous graduates that the Post BRC Session was the "final link" needed to gain the confidence to ride on the street. Tuition is $150 for 2 hours of instruction. View available POST BRC Session courses and register online. Private Basic Rider Course (one day) The Basic Rider Course (BRC) has been designed to be an effective way to learn how to ride a motorcycle over a 2 day, 15 hour course. It is important to mention that 99% of our students participate in the traditional 2-day riding course that we offer. If your schedule does not allow 2 consecutive days to take the course, then the BRC can be taught in one day during a private one-on-one session. Please keep in mind that the one day BRC is very demanding as we are incorporating a tremendous amount of information into a one day session. We found that the best suited candidates for the one day BRC are those who are in good physical shape and have at least some motorcycle riding experience. Please call us at 508-247-9595 to discuss your options. Tuition for the One Day BRC is $675. If you feel that you are not a good candidate for the one day BRC, but time constraints are an issue, then please call us and we will be happy to work with you to create a customized schedule that accommodates your needs. Private Basic Rider Course (multiple days) Although 99% of our students participate in the 2-day BRC in a group setting, we realize that some people may want to take the BRC entirely 1 on 1 over several days. We are happy to accommodate your request and can work with you to meet your scheduling needs. The rate for private lessons is $75 hour (2 hr minimum) and can be completed in 2 to 8 days (16 hours). Please call us at 508-247-9595 to schedule your class. | ||||
