PRIVATE LESSONS

After a decade of training over 40,000 new motorcyclists, we have become well aware of the fact that not all riders learn at the same pace.

Although we feel the Basic Rider Course (BRC) is a terrific and effective way for most riders to learn the basics of riding a motorcycle, we also feel that a student's experience can also be enhanced through a private one-on-one session.

If you have any requests that you felt were not addressed on this page, please feel free to contact us and we are happy to speak with you and address your concerns.

Introductory Motorcycle Experience (IME)  2 HOURS  -- $195

($100 if purchased with a BRC)

The goal and purpose of IME are to create a more confident student in preparation for the BRC. If you already know how to shift a motorcycle, then please do not take this class.

Introductory Motorcycle Experience (IME)

Introductory Motorcycle Experience is an (optional) 2-hr session that introduces you to the concept of shifting a motorcycle. It is important to realize that how to operate the shift and throttle is covered in the first few exercises of the Basic Rider Course (BRC). While most students who have never shifted a motorcycle before do well in the class without taking the Introductory Motorcycle Experience in advance of the BRC, we have found that those who do take the Introductory Motorcycle Experience before the BRC find the head start to be beneficial.

The IME is scheduled separately from the BRC and is conducted on a separate day, prior to your scheduled BRC. The IME is only available weekdays at our Flagship campus in Plympton.

To purchase the 3-day option, during the online registration add Private 2 hr Precourse in Plympton to your BRC registration when prompted.

We will email you with available IME dates within 24 hours of registering.

All Private Lessons are held at our Flagship Motorcycle Rider Training Facility in Plympton, MA. It is 35 miles south of Boston. We realize it is about an hour from Framingham and Bedford but we will make it worth the trip and you will be that much closer to becoming a safe and confident motorcyclist!

Topics Covered:

  • Locate and operate controls

  • Coordinate throttle and clutch

  • Straight line riding

  • Introduction to making turns

  • Introduction to shifting

  • Introduction to braking

Private Basic Rider Course 1 DAY  -- $789

The Basic Rider Course (BRC) has been designed to be an effective way to learn how to ride a motorcycle over a 2 day,
15-hour course. It is important to mention that 99% of our students participate in the traditional 2-day riding course that

we offer. If your schedule does not allow 2 consecutive days to take the course, then the BRC can be taught in one day
during a private one-on-one session.

Please keep in mind that the one-day BRC is very demanding as we are incorporating a tremendous amount of information into a one-day session. We found that the best-suited candidates for the one-day BRC are those who are in good physical shape and have at least some motorcycle riding experience.

Please call us at 508-247-9595 to discuss your options.
