Introductory Motorcycle Experience (IME) 2 HOURS -- $200
($100 if combined with a BRC)
The goal and purpose of IME are to create a more confident student in preparation for the BRC. If you already know how to shift a motorcycle, then please do not take this class.
What you need to know:
A 2-hr session that introduces you to the concept of shifting a motorcycle in a private 1:1 setting
The IME is scheduled separately from the BRC and is conducted on a separate day, prior to your scheduled BRC
The IME is offered in Brockton & Plympton
Introductory Motorcycle Experience (IME)
Locate and operate controls
Coordinate throttle and clutch
Introduction to making turns
Introduction to shifting
Introduction to braking
How to operate the shift and throttle is also covered in the first few exercises of the Basic Rider Course (BRC).
To purchase the IME + BRC option, during the online registration add Private 2 hr Precourse to your BRC registration when prompted.
You will receive an email with IME dates within 24 hours of registering.
Private Basic Rider Course 1 DAY -- $695
The Basic Rider Course (BRC) has been designed to be an effective way to learn how to ride a motorcycle over a 2 day,
15-hour course. It is important to mention that 99% of our students participate in the traditional 2-day riding course that
we offer. If your schedule does not allow 2 consecutive days to take the course, then the BRC can be taught in one day
during a private one-on-one session.
Please keep in mind that the one-day BRC is very demanding as we are incorporating a tremendous amount of information into a one-day session. We found that the best-suited candidates for the one-day BRC are those who are in good physical shape and have at least some motorcycle riding experience.
